The T600 version contains 26 pounds of activated carbon filter, while the T600 DLX model contains 26 pounds of activated carbon filter that is designed specifically to target VOCs and formaldehyde.

Top of the line filtration system:
The reason why this air purifier is so effective is definitely due to its filtration system which includes 3 filters as such:
- TarBarrier Pre-Filter – This pre-filter traps the tar particles that is released by tobacco smoke and for optimal performance should be replaced once a month.
- Carbon filter – This filter is equipped to absorb smoke and its odors with its 26 pounds of activated carbon. Although, depending on usage, this filter can last 12 months, but we recommend changing it every 3 months.
- HEPA-Barrier Filter – This filter helps all other particles and dust, should generally be replaced at the same time as the carbon filter.
Good to know: The activated carbon bed allows for a faster dwell time, which is the time it takes for air to go through the filter. The carbon is 3 inches deep which allows for more dwell time and chemicals to be removed.
